Safe and secure from all alarm...

The Dictionary defines safety as freedom from the occurrence or risk of injury and loss. Security has a similar definition. Freedom from danger, risk, etc., safety; freedom from care, anxiety, or doubt, well-founded confidence.

I lay awake along time the other night. There were some issues with people outside our apartment. I have lived her for a while and have always felt safe until yesterday. Scott was working and their was some individual who mistook our apartment for theirs. Once could be an accident. Twice with your shoulder too the door could hardly be a mistake. Possibly there is someone out there who is as directional challenged as myself, but our complex is very straight forward-big big numbers people! A number every person should have in their cell phone, the police non-emergency number 5
The wonderful police of our city made some loops and then all quite for the rest of the night. It was still difficult to get to and stay asleep after that.

This was my verse for the night...
Psalm 91:4-5
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day

So many great verses to stand on in the middle of the night-Jesus is so faithful to restore security and safety and comfort. I am excited to go to bed and sleep well tonight.
Sleep. Sweet sleep.
